If sautéeing for tacos, chili, or similar recipes, ground beef only needs to be partially thawed before adding it to the pan. The heat from the pan will add enough heat to thaw the meat fully as it cooks. Cook until no pink is left or cook until internal temperature reaches 155°F.

Product Tour

The Round is the largest primal on the cattle, located at the back and top of the animal, an area commonly thought of as the “haunch.” The round is mostly used for large, relatively inexpensive cuts of steak and roasts. It has a nice, moderate level of fat, making it the perfect source for a balanced grind of meat like our 85% lean / 15% fat ground beef.
