The Round is the largest primal on the cattle, located at the back and top of the animal, an area commonly thought of as the “haunch.” The round is mostly used for large, relatively inexpensive cuts of steak and roasts. It has a nice, moderate level of fat, making it the perfect source for a balanced grind of meat like our 85% lean / 15% fat ground beef.

The cattle spend their entire lives grazing exclusively on this nutrient rich grass. The end product is a rich and tender beef, leaner than its grain-finished counterpart and high in Omega-3 fatty acids.
