Bison, America’s original red meat, is often described as tasting like beef but with sweeter undertones. Our Grass-Fed Ground Bison comes from a ranch in Colorado and is amazingly 90% lean. Perfect for those looking to maximize their protein to fat ratio.

Can be cooked from frozen or thawed state. Cook to an internal temperature of at least 160 F or until all pink is gone from the interior and any juices.

Product Tour

Unless specifically specified (e.g., “Short Rib Burgers”, “Ground Chuck,” etc), you can assume that ground bison comes from all over the bison. Butchers grind trimmings from steaks and roasts, ensuring that valuable meat isn’t wasted and giving ground products a nice balanced flavor. Our grinds use trimmings from several primals towards the top of the bison.
