Filet Mignon, the most tender piece of meat on the cow, comes from the aptly named Tenderloin, a long thin strip that bisects two primals – the Sirloin and the Shortloin. Filets are cut from the smaller (forward) end of the tenderloin, where the meat is at its most tender – and most prized. On average, a full Black Angus cattle only yields about one pound of filet mignon, making it a particularly coveted cut.
In the American heartland, our Black Angus cattle are pastured in large open fields and fed a 100% vegetarian diet. They’re grain-finished on high-moisture corn for 120 days, creating fantastic marbling and tender, flavorful beef. Like all of our products, it’s antibiotic, steroid, and hormone-free. Our cattle are certified by the USDA as raised and fed through operations that provide a low-stress environment, with facilities designed by world-renowned animal care experts, and prioritize delivering access to fresh, clean water, adequate shade and shelter.

The burgers are the best. My husband and I always shopped at Rastelli's when we lived in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
We love these filet mignon burgers and in Florida we grill throughout the entire year. Great flavor. We always bought our whole filet mignons at Rastelli's - best of the best.
So glad I can still get their products by delivery to Florida. If you have not tried any of their products, you are missing something special.
