Faroe Island Salmon Whole Filet

One and half pounds of our meaty, full-flavored and nutrient-rich, our GMO-Free and Antibiotic-Free Faroe Islands Salmon is sustainably raised in free-flowing pens in the North Atlantic Ocean. Marinate this salmon with olive oil, salt and pepper, and then bake, grill or sauté. Good tasting, good for you, and good for the planet, our Faroe Islands Salmon is your ideal go-to fish.

Marinate or season fillets with olive oil, salt and pepper, then place on a hot grill, sautée in a cast iron pan, or place in an oven preheated to 400°. Cook for about 10 min per inch of thickness.

They feed on a diet harvested exclusively from their native habitat and spend their entire lives swimming in their natural environment. As they live and swim in these cold, free-flowing waters, they develop the natural layers of fat that give them their beautiful color, rich texture and robust taste.

Simply the best Salmon!

I thought the whole filet was a delightful way to poach this delicious salmon and serve it to my guests……

using white wine, lemon, bay leaves, a bit of lavender, some fresh dill, and old bay seasoning.

To finish it off, I serve it with a Dijon mustard mixed with Mayo and fresh dill .

Positively Scrumptious !

Delicious fish!

The Faroe Island salmon from Rastelli’s is my favorite. I find it tastes better than pretty much any other frozen salmon we’ve had, including wild varieties.

Delicious

First time trying the salmon this way and I was not disappointed. If you are on the fence don’t think twice cause Rastelli’s has the best salmon by far!
