Raised in the wild natural fjords of the Faroe Islands, our salmon is hearty, full-flavored and nutrient-rich. These Cedar Plank Salmon Filets come on individual, pre-soaked planks of cedarwood, ready to throw on the grill for a rich, smoky meal that’s as good tasting as it is good for you.

*All products shipped frozen and are raw unless otherwise noted.

Cook frozen or thawed. If thawed, defrost under refrigeration & reduce the cooking times by 5 minutes. The board comes pre-soaked but for added safety & cedar smoked flavor, place defrosted planked salmon in a shallow pan with water to slightly immerse wooden plank for 15-20 minutes. Grill: Preheat grill to medium heat. Place planked salmon on grill rack, 3-4 inches away from heat source. Grill for 15-20 minutes or when fish feels firm to the touch. Oven baked: Preheat oven to 350°F. Place planked salmon on a nonstick baking sheet and roast for approx. 20-25 minutes. Cooking times may vary, so continue to cook until desired doneness.

Sourcing

Located where the Atlantic meets the North Sea, the Faroe Islands have natural fjords, which is where our salmon are raised. Mile-wide fields are placed at the mouths of the fjords where the fish swim freely in their natural habitat without the threat of predators. They feed on a diet harvested exclusively from their native habitat and spend their entire lives swimming in their natural environment. As they live and swim in these cold, free-flowing waters, they gain they develop the natural layers of fat that give them their beautiful color, rich texture and robust taste.
