Orders will arrive to you approximately 7-12 business days after being received. In some cases, it may be sooner.
Why So Long?
With concerns around the spread of COVID-19, online shopping continues to rise at an unprecedented rate. This has impacted the demand on our fulfillment team. We’ve also instituted additional facility safety measures that necessitate a slightly slower fulfillment process. We’ll always do what we can to make the process of getting your food to you as quick as we can, but not at the sacrifice of the health and safety of our team members or customers.
Will It Spoil?
Nope. While the wait time between ordering and receiving is longer than usual, individual boxes are not packed until shortly before shipping and are packed with enough dry ice to keep your shipment frozen during its journey to you.
Can I Make Changes to My Order During that Wait Time?
We generally can’t accommodate changes any later than 24 hours after your order has been placed because we’re cutting meat and managing inventory based on orders. There are certain times where we can make changes depending on the specifics of the order and the timing. You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your request, though we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to change it.
But You’re Going to Charge My Credit Card?
In order to move your order into the fulfillment queue we have to charge your card. Because our fulfillment process is taking longer than normal, it means there will be a lag time between when your card is charged and when you receive a shipping confirmation. But please know that your order will be fulfilled, and we stand by our guarantee of satisfaction.
