Wild-Caught Gulf Shrimp

Our Wild-Caught Jumbo Shrimp will arrive peeled, deveined, and ready to be the star of any recipe. Toss a few into risotto, scampi, or fried rice, or serve with linguini and your favorite sauce. Even better -- simply boil and serve with cocktail sauce to start any meal or gathering!

Shrimp
Our jumbo shrimp come de-tailed and de-veined, so all you need to do is start cooking. For shrimp cocktail, boil water, then turn to medium and add shrimp. (We like to add a little sugar and some subtle herbs to the liquid.) Let them poach for about 4-6 minutes, until opaque. Remove and add to an ice bath to cool.

There are literally thousands of species of shrimp, but only about 20 that are generally sold and consumed. Gulf Shrimp are among the cleanest and best tasting. Warm, relatively shallow waters create an earthy taste that’s lightly sweet and salty. Shrimp is high in protein and very low in fat, with less than 1g of fat for a 4 oz. serving.

The Gulf waters are more than a job site for our shrimping partners…they’re a way of life, and sustaining its well-being and ecological integrity is a top priority. The shrimp are de-tailed and de-veined under strict environmental regulations and standards. They’re vacuum sealed and flash frozen on site, sealing in the freshness.
