Game Changing Teriyaki Chicken Wings 

We love chicken wings at Greensbury and we're always on the lookout for new flavor combinations and these teriyaki wings hit the spot!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Organic Chicken Wings;
  • Olive oil;
  • Salt & pepper (to taste);
  • Minced garlic (Pro Tip: save time by buying a pack of peeled garlic);

SAUCE

  • 2 cups soy sauce;
  • 2 cups mirin;
  • 1 cup sake;
  • 1 cup brown sugar;
  • 1 piece of fresh peeled ginger (approx. 1 inch long);

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees;
  2. Line a sheet try with parchment paper;
  3. Rinse and dry the wings and put in a mixing bowl;
  4. Add to the bowl salt, pepper, olive oil and garlic;
  5. Mix well until all the wings are thoroughly coated;
  6. Place wings in a single layer on the sheet try, and place in oven;
  7. Cook for 20-30 minutes;
  8. While wings are cooking, combine all the teriyaki sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly;
  9. Remove from oven and place wings in a Tupperware or food storage container with a lid;
    1. Pour 1 to 1 1/2 cups of the teriyaki sauce into the container;
    2. Put the lid securely on the container and shake well until the wings are completely coated in the sauce; 

    Serving

    1. Arrange on a plate sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped cilantro;
    2. Pour the remaining sauce over the top or serve on the side for dipping;
    3. Enjoy!
