Sometimes, you've got to mix up a classic, like hamburgers, and this recipe from @feyginfoto is the perfect way to do that. With a little bit of zing to them, these pork burgers will give your taste buds the variety they want.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground pork
  • 3 scallions, diced
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tsp kosher salt

 Directions

1. In a large bowl, mix 2/lb of @greensburymrkt pork with the 3 diced scallions, 2tsp ginger, 4 cloves of crushed garlic, 1 teaspoon of the toasted sesame oil, 2 tsp of kosher salt

2. Form the meat into 3/4-inch thick patties (don’t press to hard - want them to still have some air inside

3. Place the patties in the fridge for least an hour to harden the shape

4. In a medium bowl, toss the coleslaw mix with the 3tsp rice vinegar, 3 tsp soy sauce and 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil. Season with kosher salt and pepper.

7. Place the patties on the grates and grill for about 4 min per side or till you reach the desired temp

8. Set the burgers on the buns, top with the slaw and enjoy :)
