7 Burger Cooking Tips

  1. Always season your patties with salt and pepper. Don’t mix them into the ground beef.
  2. Oil your grill grates before you start to prevent sticking.
  3. Get the most flavor by not pressing down on your patty.
  4. Don’t flip the burger until it has a good sear.
  5. Don’t pierce your patty with a fork. All the juices will run out and you’ll lose flavor.
  6. Use the internal temp to know when it’s finished cooking.
    • Rare: 120-125
    • Medium Rare: 130-135
    • Medium Well: 150-155
    • Well Done: 160-165

7. Let your burger rest and reabsorb juices before eating. This is our most important tip!
