Even though pork chops aren't the most common BBQ protein, this Carolina-inspired BBQ sauce will give the perfect tang and twist to your pork chops. It comes together easily with a few ingredients and in no time!

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless thick-cut pork chops (about 8 oz each)

  • 2 Teaspoon Kosher salt

  • 1 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 Cup Traeger Liquid Gold BBQ Sauce

 

Method:

1. When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 375°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

2. Pat the chops very dry with a paper towel. Season on all sides with the salt and pepper.

  • INGREDIENTS

    • 4 boneless thick-cut pork chops (about 8 oz each)

    • 2 Teaspoon Kosher salt

    • 1 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 3. Insert the probe horizontally into the thickest part of a pork chop. Place the chops directly on the lowest grill grate. Close the lid and cook until the internal temperature reaches 110°F, 12-15 minutes. Flip the chops and brush the top and sides with the Liquid Gold BBQ Sauce. Close the lid and continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 135°F, 8-10 minutes more. Flip the chops once more, brush the top and sides with more Liquid Gold BBQ Sauce, and grill until the internal temperature reaches 145°F, another 5-7 minutes.
