Honey BBQ Chicken Wings

These wings have just enough heat without setting your mouth on fire.

  • 2 pounds Organic free-range chicken wings;
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt;
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder;
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon sugar;
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika;
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper;
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne;

  • 1 cup True Made Foods BBQ sauce;
  • 1⁄2 cup honey;
  • 2 tablespoons True Made Foods ketchup;
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce;
  • 4 tablespoons butter;
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder;

  1. Preheat the oven to 375;
  2. Wash, dry, and season the wings with the salt, garlic, pepper, cayenne, sugar, and paprika;
  3. Line a sheet tray with parchment paper;
  4. Place the wings in a single layer on the sheet tray and place in the oven;
  5. Cook for 15-20 minutes, remove from oven and flip each wing;
  6. Return wings to oven and cook for another 20 minutes;
  7. While wings are cooking, make the sauce by slowly simmering the sauce ingredients over low heat;
  8. When the wings are done cooking, carefully dip them in the sauce and place them back in the oven for another 5 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbling.
